    I'm machine quilting it now...got about a third of it done today. much fun!
    I had to laugh...the picture I posted-- my husband is holding it up and I just noticed that he is holding it sideways! The longer strips actually run top to bottom , not side to side..

    If you don't want to do FMQ, why not try the traditional, ancient Greek border designs? I think the shapes in your quilt would be enhanced by that sort of design. I have been quilting for 30+ years and have never used jelly rolls. However, a friend gave me a tool for my birthday which is specifically designed for use with jelly rolls...guess I have to come up with something now!
    I hope you enjoy the quilting as much as the piecing.
