And what kind of jelly roll tool did you get? What does it do?
I ended up using a decorative stitch in a cream thread (kind of a feathery stitch that was on my machine) along on the seams/blocks, except inside the long 3 strip blocks. I'm going to hand quilt a design in those. I plan on handquilting in a coral thread that matches the color of the blocks. The cream stitching looks pretty good against the bright and darker pieces.
Had to take a break for a bit....this is exhausting! But much fun! I can't wait til I'm done!
I have enough backing and bits of strips left over to make some shams or pillow cases to match!

I totally finished it a couple days ago and will post pics of it when i get time to take, then download the pics. I ended up NOT handquilting the longer blocks...I just didn't like it, so i took out the stitches, and ended up machine sewing with the same decorative wtitch, but with a contrasting thread, since the long blocks are all ivory/pale yellow base fabrics.
Am excited to begin the next one!
