    Default My Wagga-Inspired Quilt

I made this of wool-blends. The batting is wool, as is the backing. It's really heavy--very warm!

Great wagga! That will be toasty for the cold weather.

A wagga is an Austrailian utility quilt. I'm not Austrailian, but I love the idea of using what you have to make what you need. It's much the same concept as that of my great-grandmother's and grandmother's quilts--but they didn't use much wool.

I found it interesting that it was a men's craft originally.
