Cathy, about what you said, about not being there...since I have been a member of this board, I have read so many things, and written so many things, about having had family that sewed, crafted or quilted, and what it means to ppl.
I really take notice of what is in examining rooms. They are usually so cold and sterile, so plain. This quilt will be a comfort, and ppl that you have worked with, will tell you.
Kw is right, just look into your heart, and you will see,
The comfort your quilt has brought to me.
It will be something for the child to remember, that will stand out, as a good thing, on a bad day.

I am glad you are smiling in the picture, because you should be very proud of yourself. Job well done.
