Wonderful job. We have lots of "barn quilts" in our part of the country, and I love looking at them. Maybe someday I'll make one too.

So very nice, I was raised in Iowa, moved to Illinois, (now retired in the south) and as we traveled back and forth to our Iowa families, we began to see a lot of these on the barns in recent years. Made the trips go faster to start looking for them. Now you can get a directory of locations of them in many states. What a great project. Thanks for sharing.

The garage part is 30 X 40 (3 car with a 6' door just for the Harley, you walk throught a door into the the wood shop, its approx 27 X30 and between the shop and the sewing rm is the bathrm/laundry area. The sewing area is approx. 27 X 30 and the bathrm is in this area. We lived in the shop/ sewing rm for 3 years while we build the house next door. So we have been in the house 2 years now.

That is so nice! I'm going to ask my son to make me one for Christmas!! Only trouble is my barn doesn't look anything like yours -- mine is an old planer shed (sawmill) that is 80 years old, aged lumber, and tilts to one side. :0)
