As a newbie to quilting this beautiful Southwest pattern by Betty Standiferd has stretched my comfort zone for sure, I chose to hand applique instead of machine as the pattern was designed for, I think it will be really neat when finished. I will try to post some of the blocks and if successful then will post some more next week. The quilt is made up of Southwest Pueblo Indian Potteries and will have sashing and borders in a coral and turquoise and very dark mottled brown. Thanks for all the help from many of you when I just began this project (and needless to say I will probably be needing more help!) You folks are great.
