What a shame that the DIL didn't appreciate all that hard work! I am glad that you got it cheap so you could love and cherish it!

What a great looking quilt and it now has a new home that appreciates the love and time that went into making it and for a bargain price. What a shame that she didn't appreciate it.

What a beautiful quilt. Thanks to you the quilt now has a loving home and a home where it will be appreciated It really bothers me when people just do not appreciate the love that goes behind the home made item made for them. I have seen so many quilts, afghans, baby items etc at thrift stores and garage sales that were tossed away by people who do not appreciate hand made items. I may be wrong, but if I make something and it is not used by them or given away--it is the last time I take the time and give the love to make them anything else.
