Several designers will sometimes take a request like that.....all you got to do is email her and really ask....no harm in asking nicely...Quilters are very generous people so far as I've ever since, right?

No don't re-do!...no 2 snowflakes in nature are alike, so don't worry about it...it looks great!

Ohhh nooooooooo - can't they be selvaged at all?? Are you going to continue??---I STILL haven't started yet! I just cut out a baby "Disappearing 9 Patch"

Your shamrocks are wonderful - I love your rows...FABULOUS!!!!!

    Chewboo....
You are doing fine - you will get them done :-).....there is no rush...

    gaigai,
I'm so sorry that you had so many problems with the January row......perhaps it's just that the triagles were mixed up -don't throw them out - just take them and assemble them loosely and see how it works out - I am sure that you will end up with wonderful blocks..or perhaps you can just draw up a snowflake and paper piece it...if I can help with anything just drop me a message....

    stitchinwitch,,,
Still lots of time to catch up - stick with us :-)

JULY NEWS......can't give out any secrets....but I've been chit chatting with Claudia....and whether you are American or Canadian, don't worry about July :-)..That's all I can say..... :-)

Wishing you all a wodnerful sewing weekend...

    Hugs,

    Bill

No, I went ahead and threw them all away. If I get motivated again, I'll either work out the math to do it the easy way, sewing the squares together, or maybe try it paper piecing. I KNEW better than to cut triangles, and really hesitated for a long time, which goes to show, when it just doesn't feel right, it probably isn't.

gaigai,,,,I hope you get motivated to try it again...the snowflakes were the hardest so far...the hearts made up rather quickly and easiry - and the shamrocks were just as easy or even easier....just need to get the snowflakes behind you.....

Another Texan, About your snowflakes, don't snowflakes fall from the sky and twirl in the process? They look o.k., I am a fanatic when I think I've messed up and will redo so many times I turn silly. I just stumbled on to this mystry quilt while trying to find one I wanted earlier this evening, I printed one page of that and now I am frantically looking for the rest of the pattern. Anyway I have printed out the three months of patterns and I think I will join in the group. I try to get in on this quilting info and have been so pleased to get this site, I joined in Jan. and love it. So many interesting things going on here. I have a full plate and have planned to make, let's say planned again and hopefully make four quilts this year, three before Oct. our Fall Fair here in Pecos, Tx. Anyway Bill I am in, please keep us posted for the monthly patterns. I am a retired first grade teacher, but am doing four days a week math tutorials for 5th grade now at a local elem. and have been for the last five years now an I truly stay busy and may forget to check it out at first. I thought I would have oodles of time upon retirement, HA! HA! fooled myself, Anyway, I'm in Gerbie!
