    Hi Sharon,
I don't know...but I thought that at the end of the year...perhaps we can use some of these fabrics in the border that is suggested by Claudia - or use these fabric pieces to come up with a border of our own..I am thinking that since there are so many colors, I may do a piano key border...
It is going to be a nice sampler quilt so a multi-colored border would work well...
Or, we can use the smaller pieces and do prairie points..that would be fun as well..... :-)

Bill I love your ideas, yes, I too have this project and all fabric stashed away in it's own container. I was thinking of a scrappy border myself! I may solve my own 'background fabric' problem with doing a graduated background look, first 4 months will the the darker shade, then lighter for the next 4, then the lightest for the last 4 months....so I'll be 'creative' with the background fabric issue!
Everyone, thanks for all the input!
    Kind Regards,
    MaryAnna

    Hi Barbara,
Lots of time....there's just one 36" row per month.......the next one will be out on July 1st...
And like MaryAnna said, there's really no race...it's a do whenever thing - just having fun as a group doing this mystery quilt together..it is a lot of fun...My favourite row to do so far was the Pinwheels in May......but they are all coming together well and is going to be a great sampler quilt....
    WELCOME!
    Bill

Thanks for the warm welcome. Can't wait to get started. Have 2 quilts almost finished then I will go through my stash and find what I need. Will probably be able to start them tomorrow. Such fun :)
