Lillie, do you have any pics to post with the black background, sounds interesting. I love black backgrounds on quilts. Gerbie

Linda (wildyard) I am happy to see you here :), I know you are still recovering from your surgery, but I miss seeing your smiling face here! I am looking fwd to August and seeing what the block will be. I am doing my best to keep up with all that I have joined in and so far I am on schedule! I have started a class on hand quilting, I hope to learn a bunch from it. We will be making a sampler after we finish a small project of making a sewing kit. It will be a nice thing to have for hand sewing. And to make for gifts for those who do!! Take care Linda... huggles~~

August is a ?dud? Maybe it will look good with all the others, but I"m not making it until I see what comes afterwards. The color remind me of summer sun, which is what I may do! Sunshine! suns?

Yeah, I'm kinda with you... not much to that row. Poppy is the flower for august, Anyone know an easy poppy pattern? LOL
I'm looking out my windows to see what August has and I see daisys, daylilys, poppys, birds, butterflys, and sunshine. And of course, lots of green trees and leaves. I'm toying with the idea of attic windows with each of those things in a frame.

LOL Are we going for a full revolt? I think I'm going to try some sewing... it's the cutting I am worried about with my arm. Maybe if I can't do it, I can get my DS or DH to help. I can't stand it any longer!!!! My ideas are bursting to be tried.
