i was in a slump last winter and found this online mystery quilt. it was so much fun to get an email with instructions every few hours over the course of a weekend. i've never done a mystery quilt before so i went with CT fabrics just to save a few dollars. the batiks held up very well during construction. the quilt came out great and i will be using more CT batiks in the future.
i had a lot of fun quilting all the curls & feathers. i use my viking sapphire 850 for piecing & quilting. i would like to thank Charisma & all the other fantasic quilters for inspiring me to try move beyond basic stippling. feathers & curls are so much more fun!

Thanks for sharing your pics with us. I, too, have a Viking Sapphire and am so impressed with your great FMQ. Makes me want to get right back to the sewing table - after I read all the new messages.

Oh That is so sweet! I am glad I inspired you! It's a beautiful quilt! I have also bought some CT batiks and I like them as well.
