    It's my first poly quilt, didn't realize others did this too. Could it be a 'Tennessee' thing ?

    I would use black as it would really set off the blocks great.

    What did you back it with??? I have a red, white and blue top in my cedar chest that my Mother did with double knit. I was going to tie it but may machine quilt.

    this is really a nice one. My mil used to make many double knit quilts and they will last forever!!
