Thanks everyone for your kind comments and encouragement. I always struggle with what to quilt on a quilt and obviously take a lot of inspiration from other quilters work. It's a challenge to find something that works that is within my skill level. With every new quilt project, I try to work on a new technique or design and see if I can pull it off. It keeps things interesting and helps build up a repertoire. I get bored easily, so I like variety. Along with many other things, I learned with this quilt that I really dislike doing bubbles! Thanks again,
    Kathy

A stunning quilt with beautiful artwork of your FMQ. Your colors are fabulous too.

Did you do all the quilting free hand on your Sweet Sixteen or did you trace a pattern on the quilt first? Whatever you did it is beautiful. Do you like your Sweet Sixteen? I do all my own machine quilting on my Janome 6600 and I really enjoy it but having a Sweet Sixteen would make the "big" quilts more manageable. Thanks for sharing.
