    Cool Nautilus Hot Pad

    I designed this hot pad after seeing a table runner with 3 (flip-flops pattern) connected.
    I used 2 layers of quilt batting because the first one was too thin for me.
    I keep it on the counter next to the microwave--for hot dishes to land.
    It also works for rectangular glass pans.
