    I started this quilt last March with intentions that it would be the first quilt for me (I've done wall hangings for my house, but those don't feel like "my" quilts since I don't actually use them). I worked on it, set it aside, worked on it and set it aside. You know the routine.

    Each block took a little more than 2 hours to make. I have learned that a pattern claiming "Layer cake friendly, no templates required" does NOT mean "Easy to assemble". :roll:

    It's done though and I love MY lap quilt! :D

    I really think this was worth the wait! I love those blocks. You did an awesome job on this. It is definitely a keeper!
