    Dorian, looks great. My husband passed away almost two years ago and I have wanted to make a quilt with his ties. Did you wash the tie fabric before you started puting it together? Also, please show the pic when you are finished. I bet it will come out great.

    I agree, red would be the perfect color for the centers and maybe even the background.

    did you use the narrow end of the tie seeing as you used 20 ties? I really like and now counting how many I would need for a quilt I have 300 saved as of now. I was making tie skirts.
