    Default Necktie quilts

What do you do with a bunch of ties once you retire? Make them into a quilt. I call these re-tie-erment quilts. I actually had to buy more ties at Goodwill to make the quilts. I put them in the dryer with Dryell to clean and freshen them up first. They were very easy to make...I call it quilting for dummies. I made two...one for each of my daughters. They took first and second place at our county fair.

Well done! I have saved my father's ties for a quilt but it is going on 10 years and I haven't done anything but wash and dry them.
