Because the blocks are so busy, I would quilt just a little in them. The quilting would be lost in the print. Sashing, I agree with above, that a nice vine and leaf would look terrific.

How has anyone else done theirs? Thanks for any advice! Nancy

Baptist Fans, love your quilt by the way.

Hi, Thanks so much for all the great ideas for quilting. I have copied and pasted them all into a document so that I can read and study them and make a decision. Also thanks for the nice compliments! I actually had to go buy more material for some of the sashing. I did all of it vertically but realized I didn't have enough to go horizontally. I was fortunate to find some more plainer green that went very well with it. Everyone in my quilt group said that it looked like I had planned it that way! I was only 6" short and if I had not made my daughter a casserole carrier with some of it I would have had enough. I guess it was meant to be! Nancy

No advice on the quilting part, but that is one beautiful quilt. I just love the colors.

Not usually a fan of snowball quilts, but I LIKE this one. So pretty and feminine. Just lovely.

My first thought is a simple curvy design in the snowballs, then treat the dark HST corners and the cornerstone square as a block and do simple curvy outline (like LA quilters substitute for SID).

    Great quilt!

Please post photos when you have the quilting finished? I'd love to see what you decided to do!
