Just pieced this together, and am having a tough time deciding what color(s) to use for a border. This is my first large quilt, and I used a lot of differnet scraps that I have from smaller projects. Black has been thrown around a lot. Would like some opinions from those who quilt a lot more often than me! I appreciate any and all feedback

Is there a particular one of the colors that you would like to emphasize? If so I would do a narrow border of the black and a wider border of your emphasis color.

Whichever you chose...make it dark...I'd do purple or red

what's your favorite color in the quilt? Use that. It will look great.

You've already got it figured out!!!

There's no need for a border ... just go straight from what you have done and do a black binding, as you have shown.

I would do a black border.....but thats my choice.... it's YOUR quilt do what suits you!!! Lovely quilt!!

I would do a narrow black border and then a wider border using one of the other colors of the quilt (I love the blue).

Thanks all! I really appreciate all the input! Ill play around with all the ideas and look at fabrics. Ill be sure to post a finished picture--but bear with me; I'm new at this, so it might take awhile!
