Default Need Color HELP on a Table Runner!!

I am making a French Braid table runner for a room that has red, black and white in it....I have two combinations showing just half of the runner on my fabric board. Which do you like best and what should the binding be?? Thanks for looking and taking the time to answer!!!

The second one with black binding would be my choice.

I think the red, black and white is really dramatic and can be used year round. I would use black to bind. The red and white is really pretty for valentines, summer time and I would use red to bind. A decorator said once every room needs a touch of black to anchor. I just love the drama and strong statement the top piece makes.

    Thank you

I prefer the first one too, but did you try one with all three colors? Alternate red, white, black. I agree to bind with the black or red.

I agree that sounds pretty with the silver-gray binding.

i've always liked black red and white, so prefer the first. however, the second will lighten your table... so agree with a black binding on the second picture.

I agree that the black, red and white would work best for anytime. Maybe make one of each and use #2 for spring. Just my thoughts.
