I agree with QuiltE - the one on the left keeps you focused on the cute 'lil kitties.

Definitely the left. It doesn't take away from the kitties but still adds eye appeal.

Oh, how cute!!! I think the one on the right is just bold enough for these kitties. It will give the quilt a very fun feel. Please let us see it finished!

If you want the border to be the mail attraction - the one on the right
If the cats are the mail attraction, the one on the left allows your piecing to shine.

My preference - the left hand side print
