    I like 1 and 2. Would use them both. One for sides and one for top and bottom. Very nice

    Thank you all for your comments! Wow so many! I really am leaning toward using the dark brown as a binding and using the self-border on the block as the border. DH usually has a good eye, he IS a man, and it's for a man, so maybe I should listen and not over think it too much! I'll keep you all posted. And thanks! I'll probably use some of these borders in other quilts.

    I like #6, it's understated, but makes the center stand out..I like 3 and 4 too :).
