I need some ideas on how to finish this Round Robin quilt top. I don't know if I should add more borders or some patchwork blocks and then more borders. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I would use the deep rose color and- is that a blue or purple in the flying geese? color. I would put a thin border of the deep rose, then a strip- about 4 inches wide of the white/off white and then another thin border (1 inch) of the rose color. Then- make an applique of a vine in greens and applique some flowers here and there up the 4 inch strip to "fill" it in.

Is there anything on that 10"(?) white border. Is that part of the rose quilt, or is laying another quilt?

If it's part of the quilt already, I'd either put some applique on it, or cut it down. That's way too much dead space, especially if you're going to/want to add more borders. It would just be a huge void. And I usually like wide borders.

As for adding additional borders, it really depends on how big you want the finished quilt to be.

You could use the white fabric you cut off to make some pieced blocks. Flying geese, using the white/pink/floral, is an option to tie the center to the outer border. That would frame the green lattice border nicely.

I agree that some of the richer colors (rose and blue/purple) should be shown in the borders. Pretty RR!!! And what quilt photo is complete without a kitty!!!

First thing I would do is cut down that outside light border. It is just too big. I think it should be the size of the green border it is next to. Then I think that simple patchwork blocks would be wonderful. The quilt is getting pretty big now, so maybe a pinwheel in one and a star in the next one. Keep it simple, maybe 6 or 8 inches. Then bring some more of the deep rose out to the edge. It is going to be stunning!
