    I like the 4x4 and if you think it isn't big enough then just add more in the way of borders.

    That is awesome that you are so looking forward to being a grandma, I am patiently waiting for a few more years before I even start to plan, the oldest is only 15 so I have a few years, I am a last min kind of person so I can just see myself at the last min tossing some stuff togehter and hope that it is enough.

    Congradulations on your "first" Gbaby blanket.

    Your 4x4 looks great the way you have it laid out. It's going to be so cute!

    Bev, It looks just terrific! The only thing I might add would be 3" sashing inbetween rows. You really did good......
