On the photo it is fine. Stand back six feet- eight feet from it and squint at it. That is a better test than we are. I love the blocks.

I like the blue sashing. Makes a nice frame for your lovely blocks. It depends on what kind of look you want. I agree that black sashing would make it pop, but do you want a quilt that dramatic or something a bit softer (like yours is)? I wouldn't change a thing!

Thanks everyone! I feel better now. You can't see all the blocks in the pic but there is a lot of blue in them so it will tie together. I like the idea of black but this is for a 90 year old woman and I think it would be a bit much for her.

The border fabric actually matches better in person. It is the same shade of blue just a bit lighter. It is actually little button flowers. Really a cute fabric.

I have been working on this a year now and I've got to get it done! So, as soon as I finish binding the quilt I quilted today I will get going on this one. I call it Nana's Butterflies.
