    Thanks everyone, I'll use the green for the boarder, keep the rest of that 2.5 yds and the purple 1.5 yds for my stash =D

    Maybe a dark magenta "ish" for the backing.

    Purple is my signature color, but in this instance, I'd use the green. It ties the whole thing together. And, i don't see anything wrong with your piecing either!
