    I love purple as well and batiks especially.
    the green would be my choice.

    The green gives a sense of continuity and wholeness. The purple IS pretty but (to me) looks like one of those desperate cases when one runs out of fabric for the border and has to make do.

    I think the purple helps to "frame" the quilt more. Then again I'm partial to purple! Beautiful quilt. :thumbup:
