I had rotator cuff surgery in Oct. of 2010. They sent me to therapy twice a week for 4 weeks. I did a lot of applique in the meantime, cause I was going Bonkers! Both the doc and the therapist were Amazed at how fast my shoulder healed and how quickly I regained full use of it. I am convinced it was from all the motion from hand sewing! GOOD LUCK! and keep us posted!

The quilt looks pretty so far. What possessed you to make a king size? I made a lap sized one when I was a teenager, it about drove me batty.
About your rotator cuff surgery: Do everything your doctor tells you, take your pain meds on time, do your pendulums like you're supposed to(they hurt like the dickens).
Hugs I've had both shoulders done, 2007 & 2009. I've got full range of motion now and no more pain.

Good luck with your surgery. I'd just make the shams with squares and tell her you thought puffing them would be too much for the bed. IF she disagrees, offer to show her how to do the puffs.

I wish you the best on your surgery. I had a torn rotor cuff and had to have surgery too. It was very painful for me. Love your biscuit quilt!
