    Sweetheart why are you putting all this pressure on yourself? Take care of your health first. The quilt can wait a few months. Perhaps you can mail it to her when you done.

    thank you all for you concerns and well wishes.
    here's the update...doing good so far. got the other half done today and 3 valances. now all i have to do is put the 2 halves together and then bind it. not sure how i will bind it don't remember how i did the last one..any ideas ????? as for the pillow shams they will have to wait.

    get a whole binch of squares cut ahead of time and then you can just quilt like crazy. A friend came and cut alot for me right after my surgery so that I could sew something.
