I would do a big meandering...since the colors are busy doing much else would be lost
That's what my quilter would say. :D

That is one pretty quilt--so soft and soothing. It's spring!

Pretty quilt! I'd go for meandering too so as not to detract from those gorgeous fabrics.

I pulled this out last night to start quilting, but alas, after staring at it for 30 min I couldn't decide. I may meander or large stipple in the blue areas and outline the flower blocks. I don't know. I ended pulling out a "home of the Brave" quilt that waiting to be quilted and started it. However I think my machine is having issues with the thread I picked! The tension keeps changing on the back!!! I hate to waste thread, however this spool may go into the garbage, but do I have to take out the couple of lines that I already did?

Gayle...I know just how you feel, I just finished quilting the twist n turn D9P and my machine was having a hicky fit...I ripped out more sewing than I have ever had to do ....my machine is going in for a service I think..

BUT I might suggest you try the wavy line quilting, that Jacquemoe demonstrating for Karla, thats what I have done, and I am really pleased with it, it will get around the problem of the rectangles and is alot easier to do than in the ditch as it is random....I haven't taken any pictures yet :D

I think I would do a medium-smallish allover meander/stipple. There is already so much going on in your quilt that an allover general pattern would let the beauty of the quilt continue to show through.
