Lovely! What did you use for stabilizer for the embroidery? I can't believe there is not one pucker! I have yet to conquer the puckering.

Your quilt is just beautiful, and your mother will love it. However you decide to quilt it will be beautiful too. I am glad you will quilt it, and your mom have it all done by you.

So beautiful!! I think all the ideas are great...I happen to like the echo because I don't like straight lines.. what ever you like it is already a lovely thing!

Either cross hatch or rays coming out from each bouquet.

I agree with just echoing the flowers in the flower block. I like the idea of a lattice work, I think that would be great on the flowered sashing.

Morning and what a lovely quilt. I had embroidered blocks on one of my 1st quilts and I didn't think I should quilt over it but I found if you use the same thread color as the background fabric, it doesn't show as much as you'd think. I did a simple crosshatching which someone else has suggested too. It will make it look like lattice so should be fine. Please show us what you decided to do when you're done as this is such a beautiful quilt.

Had the same issue with red work pattern...decided to just do stippling around each Santa. Turned our just great. Beautiful quilt by the way!
