What a beautiful quilt. Aside from quilting around each flower, I might do some cross hatching in each block, other than that, I don't come up with anything.

Beautiful! I would do several rows of echo quilting in white around the flowers--perhaps as close as 1/4 inch apart--to fill in the background and make the flowers stand out. Whatever you do, it will be gorgeous!

Beautiful quilt. I don't have any ideas.

I like this idea. It is a stunning quilt already so whatever you do will only enhance its beauty!

I would do echo quilting on the quilt blocks. Not too much quilting so the beautiful roses stand out.

I kind of like criss-crossed quilting 'behind' the flowers...however, I would love it no matter how it was quilted. It is a beauty.

I agree with tespug. I've done many applique blocks (flowers, Sunbonnet Sues, animals) and handquilt completely around the applique closely enough that it's almost not noticeable but makes the applique almost three dimensional. Then I diagonally crosshatch the background. Gives a nice finished look and nicely features the applique.
