    the back is stunning - as for the front keep in mind the old children's book - The Little Engine That Could & and say...

    "I think I can... I think I can... I think I can..."

    and before you know it you'll be saying...
    "I knew I could... I knew I could... I knew I could..."

    Did I understand you to say that every Christmas you make each of your kids a new quilt. They have to be the luckiest kids in the world. BTW nice quilt.
