Need some encouragement to finish- extra big project from last Christmas!

You've done a lovely job! When I get frustrated on a project for a family member, I stop and focus on the person I'm doing it for and try to think loving thoughts as I continue. Are you going to embroidery your name and year on it for a "stamp" of completion? (I would!)

I usually make a label for the back, but this year, with my health problems, I just didn't have the energy. I guess it will be documented online, though that's probably not enough. He posts the pictures of his quilts for all of his friends. He says he gets comments from people in his online groups, asking where they can buy one, too. I told him that I am NEVER making another one of this kind. The tumbling blocks, and trying to round the corners and then trying to straighten them for a square bottom was like trying to put a round peg in a square hole!

That was my most favorite game I ever ever played. When Pac Man, and Ms Pac Man came out, there was Qbert, and I loved it. Ran out of quarters many times! I can see how much he loves what you made, and he will love you forever.

I agree! I enjoy making quilts like this, but sometimes I feel like I'm over my head. I wish there was a tutorial out there that would show me how to square up a round corner, or how to applique huge cube blocks to a quilt background! But until there is, this one is going in the patterns to do not again file!
