I like the cream and then scrappy border too... I've done those, they don't take nearly as long as one might think. Good luck. Lets us see it done!

I like the piano keys or a braided border, but I'd put on a bright narrow border first. 1" coral, 2" cream, a 6"multicolored braid, 2" cream and coral binding. If 11" is too wide, make each strip a little narrower.

Can you post a pic of the second choice? I don't think the border need much blue since there is so much in the quilt. The border should be something that coordinates all the colors in the quilt. Beautiful quilt!

I too think that a more narrow border of the blue with an even narrower strip of white between the quilt and the blue border would look the best. You have put so much work into it it would be a shame not to be thrilled with your results.

If it were me I would buy a dark blue to use as the border. If that isn't possible go with some of the other ideas that have been given to you.

I am not expressing a border opinion, but I sure do like the main part. That is lovely.

I think I would put a narrow border of dark blue. Then a little bigger f the flower. Another narrow of dark blue. Then a last wider border of the same flower...

The quilt is beautiful, very colorful and bright -- I'd take it shopping with you and look at tone on tone fabric in one of the colors in the quilt. I feel the print takes away from the beauty of the quilt.
