Default Need suggestions from free motion quilters

Please help! I made this quilt to coordinate with the wall hanging I made for above the piano. I have no idea what designs to quilt it with. The wall hanging is heavily quilted with feathers and pebbles, but I don't want to have this lap quilt so densely quilted as it is sandwiched with 80/20 and a brown minkee on the back.
My only idea was to combine rows of different motifs (feathers in the first two rows, swirls in the next 2, paisleys etc.) but to try and interlock them as I switch so there isn't such a "hard line" to designate the switch. No more pebbles LOL
    Any ideas???

resized-couch-lap-quilt.jpg resized-harlequin-wreath.jpg For some reason my computer wouldn't let me add the pictures to the original text.
Bespoke by Krista Moser is the lap quilt and measures 56" x 68". I used the same background in both quilts and tried to replicate the colors in the wreath with my stash. Our couch is a neutral wheat color, floors walnut, walls gold so a lot of neutrals, so decided it needed a bit of color LOL If you have any ideas for quilting I would be glad to consider them. I have a Tiara sit-down machine. Thanks.

No suggestions on the quilting but I just wanted to say how much I like both of these. Your wall hanging is beautiful and quilting is perfect. Are the pieces raw edge Applique or other?
I see the black stars formed in the background of your throw. Very nice work on both of these. Will look forward to seeing your quilting on the throw.

The applique is machine quilted with a blanket stitch. The background is brown/gray.

I watched the video about the Bespoke quilt. I also looked up the pattern . I like yours better, just wanted to let you know and thank you for getting back to me about the info on the applique. That's a beautiful wall hanging but I am afraid I wouldn't have the patience to make it.-lol

I would feather in the spokes and straight line the stars.

You could do a continuous curve design on all the individual pieces.

Have you thought about doing an all-over, curvy design like large Baptist Fans? That might provide a nice contrast with the straight line geometry of the stars and spokes and could be done large enough to not flatten down your Minky backing.

Westalee makes a ruler called Circles on Quilts. I used it to do an all over Baptist Fan (ish) on a baby quilt, but it did require a lot of breaking thread.

Love the colors in your wall and lap quilts!

I agree with the Baptist Fans suggestion. Your quilt projects are beautiful!
