    I'm doing this quilt & I only have enough for half of the plainer material so was wndering what colors do I do. More of the same of could I use some other color. Maybe a blue but not sure.

    I can't answer your question about the material but I have another question for you. The quilt that is under this one,how many embroidered blocks are used in that quilt? OK, I have 2 questions. Is it set together in a regular Irish Chain?

    Ther is only 12 blocks in it & no it isn't exacly a irish chain. I got a picture out of a catlog & asked my sister-in-law to help me but she did it. That was before I was piecing quilts but was doing the embroidery. I will attach a picture of it for you.

    i am thinking that a rust color would look good and that heart quilt under the other one is beautiful

    I have to agree with the rust suggestion. Your quilt is going to be beautiful. I love the quilt underneath too.

    These quilts are so pretty! I think the rust would be a good choice.
