I don't know if that is a good spread for a Bargello, but I am drooling over that fabric. I love florals, especially big flowers.

Because of the little contrast? It's more of a watercolor Bargello. :-D

I liked the red in it's orginial spot better than where you have it now. It picked up the red from the blue floral and made a nice flow into the red/darker side. JMHO

OK, this settles it ... if I have to pick out this many fabrics and put them in the right order for the right flow ... I'm never gonna make a bargello. I did have it on my list but I just took it off. I'll just admire others.

Edited: I can't wait to see your finished one, Barnbum. :)

Okay--I made some big changes and took out two fabrics by the red--they were too light in parts and it wasn't working. I added a white daisy at the left end, and another just before the yellow with the butterflies... I think this has better sections of color.

    Thoughts???

Very pretty fabrics. Hard decision. My suggestion Put the orange daisy between small orange print & blue. That orange needs a buddy.

The more you move your fabrics the more confused you will get. Set them up and walk away, do something else. You will see what you need to do.
