I agree with the darker ones for a little more contrast.

Barnbum, what is the name of that log cabin quilting book you mentioned yesterday, please. I've deleted the email, accidentally. The book had horses in barn doors depicted. I wrote the name of the book down and gave it to my husband when he went to the closing of a Borders near us. He lost the slip of paper.
