Love the colors and prints but I must say I would lose that red print. It just doesn't play nice with the other prints in my eyes.

I have never done a bargello...on my "to do" list. however, I heard someone say that they make a black and white photo copy of a piece of each print and lay them out. This helps them to see the gray scale and can place things better. Good luck. Looking forward to seeing the final project.

Don't take the red one out - in Bargello you need to have some zingers and strong contrasts. It is in Colour Wash that they need to blend more.
A few darker fabrics will add definition to your design.

    Karla -

I missed all the selection, but I like the final group; can't wait to see your progress on this quilt.

I wondered while looking at your collection what they would look like in a blooming 9-patch. Have you ever done one? We have it on "the list" but I don't know when we'll ever get to it. If you ever do one I'd love to see it also.

    Enjoy!

Very pretty combination of fabrics. I love the red and would leave it in. It pops.

Are you aiming for a dark side and light side? That is what I see in the first picture. :?:
