    I like each one. Just use each pattern in the order shown. They are all interesting in their own design.

    Log #1 -- they are all beautiful but #1 is the most striking, IMHO :lol:

    I guess I should have read through the whole post before answereing...LOL...
    I like the original Log Cabin, but if your are really wanting to do a B/W quilt I would choose the #2 with just that hint of red in the middle square. I love B/W quilts w/just a hint of red...
