Number 1 - while both of the others are very nice (log cabin and snail's trail - they are a more common/familiar pattern. Number one is unique - different - and really POPS each of the 3 colors....

Ok after all of the wonderful help I got with which one to make, don't you know that my friend chose the very last one I posted! Grrrr, all that work.

I have been sending her (who I am secretly making it for) the pics too and she chose this one.

Can ya believe it? So I guess this one wins this round and if I have enough fabric left, I'll do one of the others.

Thank you EVERYONE for your imputs, they me so much to me!

    the chosen one

Well....its giftee's choice, so you'll just have to make the others later. That one is really pretty too and in the actual fabrics, it will turn out beautifully! Any of them would have been a super nice gift:D

I am a log cabin person from way back, so I vote for #3.

I like #2. I like the "motion" of the blocks.

I like the 1rst one for the uniqueness of the pattern - but, I am also partial to the log cabin design - it is so versitile. # 1 has my vote too.
