#4...I love log cabins too, but #4 so far is what I like the best.

I like #2 because I'm pretty traditional. #1 is more funky than my taste. The red border on #3 is great, but I don't care for a basic log cabin layout. If I can cut your designs apart, I'd put the red border on #2. Number 4 would be my second choice.

    #2
    #4
    #3
    #1

That's my opinion for what it's worth.

I'm gonna go with #1...but it needs an adjustment, not just as sweeping as what you did. I think only 2 of the white "L's" need to be turned towards the center...1 on the top and 1 on the bottom rows...did I explain that clearly? Other than that, I love it!

I don't mean to be deceitful; however, when you plan a surprise, don't tell the person or it will ruin it for them & you. I know she will love any of them. Which one reminds you the most of her personality. Quilts in my opinion can take on personalities, also. Name the Quilt after her on your quilt label. That would make her feel special & she'll have all the info on the label. I have a feeling this quilt will be around for a long time. Those colors are one of my favorite color combos.

Shelia you and I think alike.
It's for my neighbor next door. I have emailed her the pics and she liked the log cabin best, but has no visual sence of what it would look like finished.
I don't understand that because she paints!

She saw another one in the same colors I made awhile ago and loved it, and mentioned she loved the color combo so....that's where I got the idea from.Humm, maybe I should make her that one? I think I'll send her that pic too. I told her I needed her opinion.

The poor thing doesn't have heat so I was thinking for her bed. Her hubby doesn't get cold like she does so I only need it for her side; probably 60 x 70 or around there.
