I love the snails trail for primary colors, I like the look of movement, then my next pick would be the log cabin, because it looks 'clean'.... to me that means strong lines , your eye has a place to rest now & again, ... etc. Great patterns.

I like the first one! For some reason it has an oriental feel to it!

I can't help myself. The second one is very nice but I pick the Log Cabin. Ever since I made one for Jim for Christmas, I have been wanting to do another. Yours will look stunning in black, red, and white.

I like 1 and 3 a lot ... if I HAD to pick a favorite out of those, it would be 3. I don't like two at all ... too crowded or something, not sure how to put my finger on it. But I love love love b/r/w color combo!

Do I have to pick. I like them all. I've never done a black and white. Why are you doing them? Is it a contest?

For what it's worth I like the third one. They are all pretty, no matter which you do though.

I just wanted to make a B&W quilt again and thought I'd surprise my neighbor friend. She loves my quilts.
