One trick that might help you evaluate -- turn your photos into grayscale (black and white) and you will be better able to tell if you have enough contrast happening.

You may know this trick, but if you are trying to see if there is contrast, stand back and squint at your fabrics. You will see immediately whether they blend into being the same value or not (and yes, right now, yours do come out as being much the same value.) The other tool, is to look through red plastic--it greys out the colors and you see the contrasts more readily.
Good luck with your project.

So many of your fabrics are almost the same color that I think you may lose the bargello effect. Maybe some more of a variety of prints similar to your blue daisies and your blue swirlies. Or some more very light blues instead of all of the medium blues that look so much the same.
They are beautiful fabrics! You just need more variety and contrast in color.

I am certainly no expert but you need contrast in Bargello quilts. I love all of your fabric, they are really pretty but if you look at most of the bargelloes they have a wide range of color and that it what gives them the Pop.
