hi all, this is a needle felted noggin, i took this as a class via the internet. the class was through 'crafty college' taught by Kathy Hayes. this was my first attempt at needlefelting. i did a a couple of years ago, it is a very theraputic thing to do, unless you stab yourself with a needle..ouch!..it was fun to do. i did a few other pieces, too.

Very cool. I love the level of detail you were able to achieve.

Sorry munshad - I was so tickled by the resemblance to DH that I totally forgot to add my thoughts. ...your noggin is fantastic :D , I love the expression, and would love to see more if you have any. Here in Malaga, Spain, we had a demonstration of an felting machine, just like a regular sewing machine but had five needles, and you basically can add any other fibre, wool, etc., onto felt and build up some amazing embellishment effects. It was about 250 euros though, unless you were going to do alot of art quilts etc., I thought it was too expensive, it would be good if the regular machines could have an adaptor you could fit on!!

Any budding professors out there want to design one for me????? :D

Ok, I cracked up! I love the felted noggin. I want to learn to do that, it looks like fun. Then I scrolled down and almost fell off my chair looking at John. Has a good sense of humor doesn't he?? :D :D
