Needle thru my finger...
#1
I've always considered myself lucky as I've read your stories of running your needle thru your finger and such. This morning while sewing with my embroidery I thought my finger was faster than my machine...The needle broke off on the nail side of my finger and ouch! Went to the ER to get it out..at least I don't have to worry about my Tetanus for a long while. =) Its sore this evening but luckily didn't stop me..I came back and finished my rolled roses I was working on. I just have to remember to keep my hands out of the way! I just felt so dumb!

My friend now calls her machine Nipper after putting the needle through her finger.
If you pull the needle out at home, remember to pull from the top, the thick side of the needle. My friend's husband did it the other way.
