Looks Great, I am curious, how did you handle the seams? I am working on one and I stopp at each seam, back up a stitch or two, jump over the seam, back up a stitch or two, then on to the next seam. That keeps the seams from getting sewed down. It is quite laborious and i wonder if there is an easier way.

I have the money and basketball fabric too, plus some others to make my grandson a rag quilt for Christmas. What size squares did you start with?
