Wow, I am overwhelmed by all the wonderful comments! It gives me the incentive to tackle the rest of the blocks.
First I have to clean my house....I know why they are called string quilts now.....I have strings all over the house. My sewing room floor is really bad!
Yes, my DH is wonderful. He doesn't complain about the long hours sewing or the mess all through the house. He is fine with a hamburger for supper and is always willing to rub my shoulders.
    :D

If you want to watch the video & see instructions, just do a search on QAYG String Quilt.

You sure did a nice job....or ARE doing a nice job. I realize you have some to go, but well worth all your work.

Ditter, it is lovely. What a nice compliment from your DH. Sounds like you are describing my DH.

How long did it take from start to finish? I love it and am wondering if I will live long enough to make one of them. Tee-Hee.....guess I will have to sacrifice some time I spend on the 'puter....

Your quilt is sensational. I love the beautiful back as well. It is a reversible quilt. You did a fabulous job...

Oh it is just gorgeous! Is this the one where the different colour backings didn't match up? Looks like you fixed if it is!
