    Lucky sister! I wish I had someone around that could teach me as I learn. You are so lucky to have your mom right there with you.

    Thanks for all the praise, Ladies!!! I love so many of your quilts you post on here as well. Kudos to all of us!!! My mom learned to quilt about a year ago at the age of 83, and I was very pleased to be the one to teach her. I put some pictures of her quiltng up here last year. I was taught 3 years ago by my best friend, who is another member of this forum, and I have already told that story, too, here. My sister was so very thrilled with the quilt. I was so very thrilled to give it to her, although I must admit I had actually asked the Lord if maybe, just maybe, I could somehow keep it???? But, no luck!! :lol:
